Benefit Auctions 101: Crash Course for Non-Benefit Auctioneers
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Thursday, Feb 1
Holiday Inn Des Moines
Presented by: Chad Carvey, Benefit Auctioneer
We are excited to bring to you "The Principal Auctioneer" in from California to give you a crash course on being a Benefit Auctioneer.
Over the past 10 years, Chad has helped raise millions of dollars for local Bay Area schools and non-profits. His interest in auctioneering began many years ago when he did a simple “Pie Auction” for his school and raised much more than expected! As a full-time principal for the past 21 years, not only did he discover that he enjoyed auctioneering, but the guests loved his spirit, and he found that he was often raising double what was expected from previous years’ fundraisers. Chad is able to connect with his audience with a spirit and passion and sense of FUN that is quite unique! Chad is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the California State Auctioneers Association. He has a hard-earned “Benefit Auction Specialist” designation from the National Auctioneers Association and is bonded as required of all legal auctioneers in the State of California.
WORKSHOP PRICES: Members (Spouses) $20 / Non-Member $40
