Menke Auction and Realty is a full-service Auction & Real Estate company that specializes in selling Farm Equipment, Business Liquidations, Farmland & Residential Real Estate auctions, Antique and Estate Auctions throughout Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska. Byron has also been in the auction business since 1978, conducting all types of auctions including Farm Machinery, Farmland, Estate & household, Antique, Business liquidation and Benefit & Fund raising. His well-organized and quick paced auctions draw consistently large crowds and excellent sales results.

Byron founded his Real Estate company in 2008 and constructed his new office building adjoining his Auction Center in Treynor, in 2009. By joining both the Real Estate and Auction company, it has enabled them to offer both the Traditional and Auction method to selling Real Estate which sets them apart from most of their competitors. They specialize in acreages, farmland, rural properties, and small-town residential properties. Their knowledge of the issues facing buyers and sellers of rural properties sets them apart from all other Real Estate companies.

In 2018 Menke Auction & Realty joined forces with AuctionTime in order to offer weekly online auction sales of Farm & Construction Equipment as well as Trucks and Trailers. By utilizing Auction Times other auction platforms, HiBid and EquipmentFacts, they are now able to offer total online only auctions or the very popular “Hybrid” Auctions which is a live auction with online bidding options to the buyers. By adding these additional tools, they are now able to reach buyers not only across the US, but across the world and have sold numerous items to buyers all over the continent.
